We are seeking a great candidate to fill the position of Division Manager- Human Resources with a General Construction firm in Detroit, MI.
This position will entail the candidate to perform advanced, specialized and administrative duties in designated human resource program or section area. Responsible for providing high-level support in the administration of a human resources program.
Advise management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities. Act as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to assigned program or section area. Develop, revise and implement human resource policies and procedures. Ensure program or section area is in compliance with established policies and procedures. Assist in the planning and organizing of assigned program or section area. Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested by immediate supervisor. Answer nonroutine requests for information on policy interpretation. Assist with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program or section area. Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects. Conduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. May plan, assign and/or supervise the work of others.
